Kampala Music School (KMS), which opened in 2001, has become the centre of excellence in Uganda for the teaching and learning of classical music and from 2004 Jazz.

KMS aims to

• Give maximum opportunity to develop talent at affordable rates.

• Encourage and facilitate music teachers across Uganda.

• Provide practice facilities.

• Bring musicians together.

• Develop musical appreciation and understanding.

• Provide musicians to perform at various events, e.g. parties, concerts, dinners, weddings, etc.
